ℹ️ Tango MCP is available on Enterprise Workspaces. You need your own Tango account and must be a member of the Workspace. Workspace Guests can’t connect to Tango MCP.
Answers to common questions about connecting an assistant, finding the right Tango, and reporting a problem.
Why isn’t my AI assistant using Tango?
Your assistant decides when to call Tango, and it usually does so for how-to questions about software. If it answers from general knowledge instead:
Check your connection. Ask "What Tango workspace am I connected to?" If your assistant can't name a workspace, you're not connected. Reconnect Tango in your assistant's connector settings and sign in again.
Mention Tango in your question, for example "Check Tango for how to request time off."
Name the task and the app, for example "How do I create an opportunity in Salesforce?"
Check your AI assistant connection status in Tango’s Connect an AI assistant Workspace setting.
If your assistant calls Tango but finds nothing, the Tango may be in a different Workspace or one you can't view. Each connection reads from one workspace.
Disconnecting
In Tango, go to Settings > Connect an AI assistant, click the connection under Your connections, and click Revoke. You can also click Disconnect to revoke all established connections with that assistant. Alternatively, disconnect in your assistant's connector or agent settings. In Microsoft 365 Copilot, go to Settings > Agents > Tango.
Note: An assistant signed in on more than one device or browser shows up as separate connections. Changes to revoked connections may take up to 15 minutes to take effect.
I can't sign in, or my workspace isn't listed.
Check that your workspace is on Enterprise and that you're a member, not a Guest. Sign in with the Tango account that belongs to that workspace.
