If you have the Tango extension installed, you will see a button that says "Guide Me" at the top of the Tango. Clicking it opens the Guide Me side panel and highlights each step directly on your screen, so you can follow the Tango while completing your task!
Guide Me works on any Tango captured via the Tango browser extension on web-based platforms and tools including Salesforce, NetSuite, Hubspot, Workday, and many more!
Guide Me:
Transforms static how-to guides into interactive walkthroughs
Increases self-service by embedding instructions in the tools where people work

Drives higher (and more measurable!) process adoption
To use Guide Me you need a Tango account and the extension installed, and you need to be able to view the Tango, whether through explicit access or a shared link.

What do I need to use Guide Me?
A Tango account
The Tango extension installed on Chrome or Microsoft Edge
Access to the Workflow: it must be in a Workspace where you are a member, or you can join as a Guest by being invited to the Workflow or by trying Guide Me within it. Guests get 3 free Guide Me sessions per Workspace.
A Workflow created after May 17, 2023. On older Tangos, the Guide Me panel opens with a static workflow and no elements are highlighted on screen.
A Workflow captured with the browser extension. Guide Me doesn't work on uploaded screenshots or Desktop captures.

How to access Guide Me from a workflow
1. From the workflow page, click the "Guide Me" button under your Tango
2. Tango will open a new tab to the first link in your workflow, and a sidepanel will open in your browser window. Tango will highlight the elements to click directly on your screen and follow along your process!
Click on the highlighted box on your screen, and Tango will automatically progress to the next step.
Discover a Tango from the extension
Guide Me can also surface workflows that are relevant to the website where you're working. If you have access to Tangos for that website, a red number shows next to the Tango extension icon. Click the extension, then click Discover a Tango to see a list of available Tangos without leaving the page you're on.
Start Guide Me from a Pin or Pinned Tango
On Enterprise plans, Tangos can be pinned directly on the webpages where your team works, and viewers can start Guide Me from the Pin. Learn more in What are Pinned Tangos?
