ℹ️ Tango MCP is available on Enterprise Workspaces. You need your own Tango account and must be a member of the Workspace. Workspace Guests can’t connect to Tango MCP.
What can my AI assistant access in Tango?
View only. Your assistant can search and read Tangos, including their steps and screenshots. It can't create, edit, share or delete anything in Tango, or change permissions.
Your permissions. Each person signs in with their own account, and your assistant only sees Tangos you can already open in Tango.
No drafts or trash. Your assistant can find any published Tango you can open, including personal and shared ones. Drafts and Tangos in the trash aren’t included.
One Workspace. Each connection reads from the Workspace you chose at sign-in. To switch, disconnect and connect again.
Is my data safe?
Connected AI assistants can access Tango guides in your workspace. Shared content is subject to the connected account's terms and data settings.
Your Tango password is entered on Tango's own sign-in page and never passes through your assistant.
Tango doesn't keep a separate copy of your content for AI. Each answer is pulled from Tango when you ask.
Your assistant's provider handles the conversation under its own terms.
If your network filters outbound traffic, allow
mcp.tango.us,app.tango.us,screenshots.tango.usandimages.tango.us.

Can admins see which AI assistants members have connected?
No. Each member can see only their own connections under Settings > Connect an AI assistant. Tango does not currently provide admins with a list of individual members’ connections.
Can admins enable or disable AI assistant connections?
AI assistant connections (MCP) are off by default. A Workspace admin can turn them on under Settings > Connect an AI assistant. Once enabled, Workspace members can connect an AI assistant to Tango. Workspace Guests can’t connect.
Admins can also disable AI assistant connections (MCP) across the Workspace in Settings > Connect an AI assistant. When an admin disables assistant connections:
Existing connections lose access.
Connected members are not proactively notified.
Revocation may take up to 15 minutes to take effect.
When are a member’s connections automatically revoked?
A member’s connections are automatically revoked when:
They are removed from the workspace.
Their password is reset.
These changes may take up to 15 minutes to take effect.
Can an admin revoke access for one member?
To revoke assistant access for an individual member without disabling it for the entire workspace, contact your customer success representative.
Can admins control which AI assistants members can connect to?
Not currently. If you’re an admin of an Enterprise workspace and would like more control over which AI assistants your members can connect to Tango, we’d love to hear your feedback.

Disconnecting
In Tango, go to Settings > Connect an AI assistant, click the connection under Your connections, and click Revoke. You can also click Disconnect to revoke all established connections with that assistant. Alternatively, disconnect in your assistant's connector or agent settings. In Microsoft 365 Copilot, go to Settings > Agents > Tango.
Note: An assistant signed in on more than one device or browser shows up as separate connections. Changes to revoked connections may take up to 15 minutes to take effect.
