Admins manage members, roles, billing and security settings for a Workspace. If yours has left, start here.
On the Free plan
Everyone in a Free Workspace is an Admin, so anyone still in the Workspace can invite people and manage it. You don't need to do anything else.
On Pro or Enterprise: check for another Admin
A Pro or Enterprise Workspace can have more than one Admin. If anyone else is an Admin, ask them to give you the Admin role. Roles are managed in the Members section of Workspace settings (Settings & members).
If the Admin is leaving but still reachable
Ask them to make you, or someone else on the team, an Admin before they go. If they manage billing, the new Admin will see "Manage subscription" under Settings & members > Billing once they have the Admin role.
If no Admin can be reached
Contact us in chat or at [email protected] from the email address you use for Tango. Tell us:
the Workspace name
the former Admin's email address
your email address and current role
Note: we may need additional confirmation from someone with authority at the company.
Enterprise Workspaces
Contact your Customer Success Manager.
If your Workspace uses SSO and SCIM, members are managed from your identity provider. Tango Admins without access to your identity provider can't add or remove users, so your IT team may need to help. See How do I set up SSO and SCIM?
For SSO login problems, email [email protected].
To avoid this next time
Keep at least two Admins in every Pro or Enterprise Workspace, so one person leaving doesn't lock everyone out of settings and billing.
