Domains, Protocols and Ports required for the Tango Desktop App to work on your servers

If you're capturing a Workflow on a protected network, a firewall or proxy can block the Tango Desktop app. Here are the domains to allow.

If you are a Tango Pro or Enterprise user experiencing technical difficulties such as:

  • Unable to initialize Tango Desktop App

  • Desktop App stuck in an initiation state

  • Workflow images display as a blank or “Image failed to load” error

  • Updates never arrive

Here's how to fix this:

Allow the domains below in your firewall or proxy. Tango Desktop uses HTTPS only.

Allow the wildcard entries as written so that services we add behind a new subdomain don't get blocked. If your network decrypts SSL traffic and you're still having issues, exclude these domains from decryption.

Please allow:

  • *.tango.us

  • *.amazonaws.com

  • edge-config.vercel.com

This list is current for Tango Desktop 2.0 (September 2026). Desktop updates are downloaded from desktop-downloads.tango.us, which is covered by *.tango.us.
